3151 / 3051 vertical pipe differential pressure densimeter is an automatic instrument for on-line measurement of density of various liquids or liquid mixtures. It is a field instrument for continuous on-line measurement of liquid density, which can be directly used in industrial production process. The intelligent on-line densitometer adopts advanced technology, including a capacitive high-precision differential pressure sensor and a pair of pressure repeaters connected to it and inserted into the production process. There is a temperature sensor between the two pressure repeaters to compensate for the temperature change of the process liquid. 3151 / 3051 vertical pipeline differential pressure densimeter can measure liquid density continuously and on line without process interruption. 用上述的常規方法對智能變送器進行校準是不行的，因為這是由HART變送器結構原理所決定了。因為智能變送器在輸入壓力源和產生的4-20mA電流信號之間，除機械、電路外，還有微處理芯片對輸入數據的運算工作。因此調校與常規方法有所區別。
